Location

Norfolk House is located in Wentworth Falls, in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney.

If driving, allow 90 minutes from Sydney CBD at quiet times, 120 minutes during normal traffic and up to 150 minutes in peak hour if travelling with the traffic. From Penrith or Lithgow it is 45 minutes at fairly much any time of day or night.

Situated a stone’s throw from Wentworth Falls railway station, and with all necessities within several minutes walk, travelling to the house by rail is a viable option.

There is a regular train service to other popular mountain towns such as Leura, Katoomba and Blackheath. Not having a vehicle will limit access to a number of attractions in the area, but the key sights of Wentworth Falls are within an easy 25 minute walk. The railway service takes approximately 1 hour 50 minutes from Sydney, 1 hour 30 minutes from Parramatta, 1 hour from both Penrith and Lithgow.

If approaching by car from Sydney, turn right at the traffic lights into Station Street and the Wentworth Falls shopping village, proceed through the shops and over the railway bridge. Norfolk House is then immediately to the right at 7 Blaxland Rd.
